Elegant Touch of Strings Bio

Elegant Touch of Strings does weddings and ceremonies of all kinds.

Their ‘About’ is about you, really. Their goal is to take excellent care of every client, from start to finish. You are the reason Elegant Touch of Strings (ETS) exists as a group which is to perform for your wedding or special event. ETS wants to know how you envision your live music and then they want to create an ambience as beautiful and memorable as you’d wish it for yourself and your guests.

Sherry Lewis, the group leader, will personally handle all of the communications before your event and so there will be no confusion or conflicts of information. Their numerous collection of compliments reinforces their personal dedication to timely and efficient communications from start to finish. It just makes good business sense to treat clients very well. As ETS has been told more than once, it’s obvious that they enjoy what they do and it shows.

ETS has performed over 5,000 ceremonies, receptions and corporate events. They have a wonderful repertoire for just about any occasion. They perform in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area as well as outer vacinities such as Carmel and Monterey, Yosemite and occasionally north of Sonoma. They are often willing to travel.

Whether you’re considering a string quartet, string trio, violin & cello duo or solo violin they are delighted to perform for your wedding, reception, corporate event or other special occasion. Their repertoire includes a wonderful selection of classics, waltzes, tangos, jazz standards and contemporary selections.

Live string music is never overbearing. A frequent compliment comes from their clients and their guests who appreciate that they can be heard while socializing and still enjoy the live music.

“I told my cousin that my husband and I thought that you guys were the bargain of our whole wedding. We may make this our wedding gift to them. Your music is something that every girl should have on her wedding day!”

Hi Sherry,

“I’m sorry I haven’t had a chance to write and THANK YOU for your beautiful performance at our wedding until now. I did submit a 5 star review on Yelp a couple weeks back, and I would be thrilled to be a client reference should you ever need one. You were an absolute pleasure to work with, and your beautiful music made our wedding ceremony so special.”  Hillary and Brent, Mission Santa Clara, September ‘13

Procession (these choices meet the romantic as well as beautiful quality many want in a wedding)

Choral BWV 67: Sei lob un

Flower Duet from Lakme

Intermezzo, Mascagni

My Beloved Father

Jupiter, from the Planets

La Vie en Rose

Larghetto in D, Handel

Laudate Dominum, Mozart

Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini

Two Sunsets, Einaudi

Or more popular, such as Here Comes The Sun, All You Need Is Love, Married Life, Marry You, Marry Me…right, anything with Marry in it kind of works!

Queen of Sheba

Ode to Joy–Beethoven’s 9th theme

Or more upbeat contemporary such as All You Need Is Love, Best Day of Our Lives, Married Life, Marry You and Viva La Vida

These choices can be heard at You Tube and all translate over beautifully for duo, trio and quartet. I can also solo any of these choices if a solo is what you have.
